Introducing "Fairly Legal" Star, Sarah Shahi

Aahoo Jahansouz Shahi is a Latina!

The stunning 31-year-old actress, who is better known as Sarah Shahi, is the daughter of an Iranian father and a Spanish mother.

Shahi stars in the new USA Network show, Fairly Legal, which premiered on January 20th to solid reviews. Originally titled, Facing Kate, the one-hour legal drama centers on Shahi's character Kate Reed, a passionate (and sexy) top litigator who is frustrated with the bureaucracy and injustice she witnesses in the legal system (think Jimmy Smits in NBC's shortlived drama, Outlaw, but sexier).

Shahi is effervescent as Kate, and she's earned solid reviews for her work on the show. Recently, Entertainment Weekly called her a wonderful actress. "Shahi somehow makes you believe that the woman is simultaneously an anxious wreck and a brilliant mediator," wrote EW critic Darren Franich.

A former Dallas Cowboys cheerlader with a gorgeous smile, Shahi made Maxim's Hot 100 list in 2005 and 2006. After guest starring on several hit shows including The Sopranos and Alias, the stunning beauty landed a recurring role on the second season of Showtime's hit series, The L Word in 2004, playing Mexican-American DJ, Carmen de la Pica Morales.

We're fairly certain Fairly Legal is the right star vehicle for this talented part-Spanish actress!
