Who remembers this 90's nostalgic TV show where the parents on the show suffer a tragic accident, leaving their five children behind to raise themselves?

On Thursday, Freeform announced that the network is committed to producing a pilot reboot from the original 90's family drama series originally creat3ed by Chris Keyser and Amy Lippman.

Following the lead of the relaunch of One Day At A Time, producers are giving the new version a modern-day Latino twist where the show will follow the five children whose mother and father, the Buendiases, are suddenly deported to Mexico.

The network will introduce a sharp political message to the story of children trying to make it without their parents. Instead of a tragic car crash, immigration deportation will be the reason the kids are left parentless. Freeform has yet to announce a cast, but we're excited to see which actors will be the movers and shakers of the reboot.
