Jennifer Beals, ‘Venice’
Flashdance star Jennifer Beals has landed one of the lead roles in ABC’s Venice, a Romeo & Juliet-like drama pilot that takes place in Venice, California and centers on two families fighting for control of the beach city as a dangerous liaison develops between them. Beals will play Lisa Carver in the McG-directed pilot, the matriarch of the Carver family, one of the two feuding familias.
