VH1 wants to go into overtime with Evelyn Lozada! A source confirms to The Hollywood Reporter that the Puerto Rican realty star—who is a fan favorite on VH1’s hit series Basketball Wives—is in talks to star in her own reality series on the network.
Sources say the deal will include less shooting time for Lozada, so that she can spend more time with her daughter (who is currently a freshman in college) and so that she can attend all of her fiancé Chad Ochocinco’s NFL games.
Lozada has been on a roll lately. Not only is she the breakout star of Basektball Wives, but she also co-owns the Coral Gables, FL shoe boutique, Dulce and recently signed a six-figure book and movie deal.
We reached out to VH1 to confirm the news of a spinoff for Lozada, but a rep for the network said, “We can’t comment on development rumors.” Which basically means that it's true (wink).
