Sign No. 1: It’s at a public park

A barbecue is usually held at someone’s backyard. When it comes to urban Latinos, a public park is just as good (backyard? Que backyard?). Bring the cooler, the beef and your own grill or use the one provided by the city—which is highly recommended because your meat soaks in the sabor of Latino BBQs past.

Eva Longoria, 38

For eight seasons, Eva Longoria played the sneaky, funny and usually ditzy, Gabrielle Solis on ABC’s hit dramedy, Desperate Housewives. But in real life, Eva is no dummy. When she’s not busy performing as an actress or pounding the pavement as an activist, Eva is hitting the books hard. Christina Aguilera

The 32-year-old singer's much slimmer figure at Sunday’s Billboard Music Awards created tons of buzz on Twitter. Aguilera is so stranger to harsh criticism about her weight, which has fluctuated throughout the years. In Marie Claire’s February 2012 cover issue, Aguilera said “I've been criticized for being on both sides of the scale” and added that she happened to be “very comfortable” in her own skin. The singer of Ecuadorian descent also told PEOPLE in 2012 that “as long as I am happy in my own skin, that is all that is all the confirmation I need." We love it.
