DWTS Recap: Was William Levy’s Cha-Cha and Freestyle Enough to Win?

William Levy made us want to scream "cheers" during his cha-cha-cha for last night’s Dancing With The Stars finals. The Cuban actor and his partner Cheryl Burke were shaking their hips like winners to Pink’s hit song “Raise Your Glass,” which landed them a perfect score of 30 from the judges. The dance couple really had to kick up their game since only three contestants remain, including Donald Driver and Katherine Jenkins.

Len Goodman swore it was the best cha-cha routine he has ever seen in the show’s history! As if Levy’s moves didn’t have us craving a cocktail already, Bruno Tonioli says, “That was an intoxicating Cuban cocktail.” And we were all saying salud!

Levy’s first routine may have received a perfect score, but his freestyle, which was a mixture of tango and salsa, didn’t get stellar reviews from everyone. Levy executed so many flips and turns that we were left in amazement, but Goodman thought the whole act was “predictable” and is just “fed up with it.” His comments caused a well-deserved frenzy among the crowd, but at least Carrie Ann Inaba made up for it by dancing on the judge’s table and cheering on Levy’s freestyle. He garnered 29 points and is officially in second place on the leaderboard.

With less than 24 hours until the finale, we really hope Levy wins this thing. Are you voting for him? Watch William Levy’s cha-cha-cha performance below and let us know what you think!
