DWTS Recap: William Levy Makes Us Say “Ave Maria” After His Viennese Waltz!

There was magic in the air when William Levy hit the dance floor during last night’s episode of DWTS. It was as if the Cuban actor was blessed by an angel while performing the Viennese waltz to the serene and moving vocals of “Ave Maria,” performed by America’s Got Talent alum Jackie Evancho.

It was the kind of performance that transported us to Michelangelo sixteenth chapel in Rome. Levy was the perfect embodiment of one of the dancing angels on the ceiling. (No, just us?) After admiring his beauty, we also felt compelled to go to confession and repent for our, ahem, thoughts. Yeah, the Cuban heartthrob was just that good.

The judges also shared our excitement for Levy’s routine. “That is true content. That is true dancing. You find the story in the music…and you bring the romance to life. Beautiful,” said Carrie Ann Inaba. Bruno Tonioli also shouted, “The Catholic boy from Cuba was there. You put your heart and soul into this. You felt it…you lived it. It was so touching. It was beautiful.” Levy and Cheryl Burke garnered a total of 27 points.

Watch William Levy’s routine that made babies and abuelitas cry with joy below. What did you think about his performance last night?
