Six couples were aiming to please during last night’s Dancing With The Stars, and no one performed better than our very own William Levy. The contestants made sure to rock the dance floor twice in order to avoid tonight’s double elimination episode. The Cuban actor did just that with a perfect score of 30 after his ultra-slick and sly foxtrot with partner, Cheryl Burke.
His pose and his footwork were untouchable and no one agreed more than judge Carrie Ann Inaba. "All I can say is meow, meow meow. That was like a super hot sexy pink panther. Your moves are exquisite," she said. Levy reacted with a cute and perplexed look and asked, “Pink panther?” (Hey, Levy, Inaba’s feline obsession landed you a perfect score so we wouldn’t ask any questions!)
Round one was over as quickly as it began, and for the next level Levy dressed up as Zorro for the group choreography with Burke and pro dancer Tony Dovolani. Let’s face it, who wasn’t feeling his getup? He was like the modern day Antonio Banderas with dancing skills.
Levy received a score of 27 from the judges, which places him in the lead. DWTS host Brooke Burke asked Levy what it felt like to play dress up as the masked badass. The heartthrob answered, "I used to see his character when I grew up in Cuba. It was fun to dance like him." And it was fun to watch, no?
