Vidal, a former Nickelodean star, will one of the Fuentes women, Lola. A mysterious young man unexpectedly emerges from the ocean and “breathes new life” into the women – including Lola, who is tired of being let down by love and her unfulfilling life of work. The man, played by Adan Canto, opens up a whole new world of possibilities for her.

Rubin-Vega plays a Santeria priestess named Remelda – a very different character from her roles in Smash and Rent on Broadway.
