- Amidst news of Cee-Lo Green and Christina Aguilera's departure from The Voice after this season, many were wondering who would join Adam Levine and Blake Shelton in the judges' chairs. Well, wonder no more! Shakira and Usher have been confirmed for next season!
“We are thrilled to welcome Usher and Shakira to ‘The Voice,’" Robert Greenblatt, the chairman of NBC Entertainment, said in statement. “The addition of these popular iconic artists continues the tradition established by Christina, Cee Lo, Adam and Blake. Doing two back-to-back cycles of this show requires a tremendous amount of time, and we are happy to accommodate the commitments made by Christina and Cee Lo.” What do you think of the two new additions?

They continued the night at a Houston nightclub where Wilmer even sang a few songs. We've got to get our hands on those tunes!
- Remember back in 2003 when Ben Affleck was romancing Jennifer Lopez and they, um, blessed the world with the movie Gigli? Apparently, it was the worst year of his life.
In the October issue of Details, he reveals: “In our culture, we get very much into shorthanding people. And I got shorthanded as That Guy: Jennifer Lopez, movies bombed, therefore he must be a sort of thoughtless dilettante, solipsistic consumer blahblahblah. It's hard to shake those sort of narratives. If you were looking at that one-liner on me in 2003, which was definitely the annus horribilis [laughs] of my life..." Looks like both Ben and J.Lo are doing better in the careers and love life!
- Despite rumors to the contrary, Mariah Carey has stated she is not feuding with fellow American Idol judge Nicki Minaj: "a feud takes longer [than 2 days] to happen," said Mariah. Hmm, does that mean a feud might be in the future?
