Christina Aguilera on Running An All-Girl Team: "It's Just the Best"

NBC

On Tuesday night's first live show of NBC's hit singing competition, The Voice, judge Christina Aguilera performed "Lady Marmalade," (the 2001 song she famously recorded with seasoned singers, Pink, Lil Kim and Mya), with her team of rookie contestants (Raquel Castro, Frenchie Davis, Lily Elise and Beverly McClellan) and the seasoned performer said her team of power singers didn't disappoint.

"Running an all-girl team is just the best," Aguilera, 30, told People.com after the show. "It's the best feeling ever to see people grow and change and to be a part of someone's journey who are just such raw talents."

Xtina added that she has as much faith in the show as she has in her team. "I'm in it because I believed in the concept of the show, and that's the voice,” she said. “And I think my team really represented that tonight."

While Christina was busy cheering on her team Tuesday night, her boyfriend, Matt Rutler was busy cheering her on as Xtina took to the stage to perform a Queen medley with fellow judges Adam Levine, Blake Shelton and Cee-Lo Green. We wonder what Matt thought of Christina's low-cut green sparkly corset dress?
