OK, we’ll be honest: We were really bummed when ABC’s Charlie’s Angels reboot cast a non-Latina actress (Minka Kelly) as ex-marine, Marisa Valdez (aka “The Hispanic Angel”).

But today’s casting news is helping us feel better about that. ABC cast Ramon Rodriguez (The Wire, Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen) as Charlie’s liaison, Bosley! The character is being described as a "charming and funny guy with GQ looks and Peter Pan smile who has great hacking skills and technical knowledge."

And just like in the ‘70s TV show, the 2000 movie (and its 2003 sequel, Charlie’s Angels: Full Throttle, Bosley will be a rock of support for the Angels, but also the butt of all jokes.

Rodriguez, who is best known for his role as Leo Spitz in Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, joins a cast that includes Minka Kelly (Friday Night Lights), Rachael Taylor (Transformers) and Annie Ilonzeh.
