Jennifer Lopez is fascinating. We know this. You know this. And apparently, Barbara Walters knows it, too.
Walters has just revealed eight of the 10 names on her annual Most Fascinating People list, and the one Latina who made the cut is none other than J.Lo herself.
Joining Lopez on Walters' coveted list are future Queen of England, Kate Middleton, actress Sandra Bullock, teen sensation, Justin Bieber, the cast of MTV's The Jersey Shore (counting as one person) and Betty White. NBA superstar, LeBron James also made the list, along with former Alaska Governor, Sarah Palin (who was also featured on Walters's 2009 list).
Now in its 18th year, Walters' list draws from the world of entertainment, politics and sports. The last two people on this year's list, including the Most Interesting Person of the Year, will be revealed during the hourlong special, which airs on Dec. 9 at 10 p.m. EST.
Over the past five years, Walters has chosen a woman as her Most Interesting Person of the Year: Michelle Obama (2009), Tina Fey (2008), J.K. Rowling (2007), Nancy Pelosi (2006) and Camilla Parker Bowles (2005). Still, we're crossing our fingers that Ricky Martin is named this year's Most Interesting Person. If anyone's been an inspiration in 2010, it's Ricky.
Who would you like to see as Walters' Most Fascinating Person?
