No wonder Jennifer Lopez wanted this story killed. The uber-private star suffered a lapse of brutal honesty during an interview a couple of months ago, during which she spoke candidly about everything from suffering a nervous breakdown on the set of her film Enough, to how she really feels about Scientology, a religion to which her father and several of her close friends belong.

In the Can: The sexy siren comes into her own next year with a series of high-profile roles. After a kick-start with The Spirit, which opens Christmas Day this year, Eva will appear as a prostitute opposite Nicholas Cage's crooked cop in Bad Lieutenant: Port Call of New Orleans, directed by German legend Werner Herzog, and as a contestant on a deadly gameshow in Live!, which premiered at the 2007 Tribeca Film Festival.

Coming Soon: Eva's got her plate full with Trouble Man, a comedy co-starring Chris Tucker, in which she plays a woman who's had nothing but bad luck with men (that'll take some serious acting chops from our girl), and Queen of the South, Eva's pet project with Robert Rodriguez's ex-wife Elizabeth Avellan, about the girlfriend of a murdered Mexican drug lord who flees to Spain and sets up her own operation. Josh Hartnett and Ben Kingsley have also signed on.

Perez Hilton Collects Close to $90,000 from Samantha Ronson

Score one for Perez Hilton. It's no secret the chismoso is at war with half of Hollywood, but we never expected him to win a major battle. The self-proclaimed Laptop Samurai did just that on Friday, when a judge ordered celebrity DJ Samantha Ronson to pay him $87,000 in attorney's fees resulting from a defamation suit she filed against him—and lost—last year.

Indicted Helio Castroneves Wins Race

Race-car driver Helio Castroneves' tears of dispair from last week's court appearance, when he was indicted for tax fraud, turned to tears of joy on Saturday for coming in first in the Petit Le Mans Prototype 2 Class auto race. The 10-hour race was held in Atlanta.

"This was a terrific win for Helio and Penske Racing tonight in the 1,000-mile Petit Le Mans race," Bed Denker, senior vice president of the Penske Corp., told People. "Helio is elated and proud of his team after what has been a long week for him."
