We got the ‘goosies’ as J.Lo would put it on American Idol!
We are still in awe about the talented Latina, Jessica Sanchez. The contestant was the final performer to represent for the ladies team last night, and let’s just say she was worth the wait. Without a doubt, Sanchez proved that they saved the best for last while performing Whitney Houston’s “I’ll Always Love You” – a track that some music veterans even shy away from covering!
The 15-year-old belted the classic song from The Bodyguard and received a standing ovation from all of the three judges Jennifer Lopez, Steven Tyler, and Randy Jackson. We loved Tyler’s comment, “You just made 40 million people cry.”
During the celebrity vocal training, even Mary J. Blige was amazed by the petite powerhouse. Unfortunately, Jeremy Rosado didn’t get the same praise for his Steve Wonder cover of “Ribbon in the Sky.” Regardless, we hope both of these talented Latinos stick around until the end.
Watch Jessica Sanchez’s performance below and let us know, do you think she will be the next American Idol?
