'Acapulco Shore' — Take a Look at Latin America's 'Jersey Shore'

Cuidado, Acapulco! The Mexican versions of Snooki, JWoww and The Situation are coming to town.

Acapulco Shore, based upon popular U.S. reality show Jersey Shore, will highlight eight young Mexicanos living in and around the beach resort town. MTV Latin America and bilingual U.S. network Tr3s will debut the show simultaneously in September 2014.

"Drama, friendship, and partying -- the hallmarks of the MTV franchise are all encapsulated in Acapulco Shore," said Maria Iregui, Brand Manager of MTV Latin America. In other words, fans can expect a lot of boozing and fighting.

The good news doesn't end there, MTV fans. Catfish Colombia, based upon the U.S.-based program which follows suspicious Internet relationships, will also make its debut on MTV Latin America in September.
