Once Upon A Time
Premieres: Sunday, October 23rd at 8 p.m. on ABC
From the writers of Lost, Once Upon A Time is a fresh new take on the storybook legends everyone knows—or thought they knew. Spellbinding, chillingly dark and truly original, the show—which is set in two worlds: a storybook world of fairly tales where anything is possible, and the real world (“where happy endings go to die”)—boasts a talented cast led by three extremely talented female leads: Ginnifer Goodwin (Big Love), Jennifer Morrison (House) and half-Puerto Rican actress Lana Parrilla (Swington) as the evil queen in a performance that will haunt your dreams.
The Playboy Club
Premieres: Monday, September 19th at 10 p.m. on NBC
Set in 1963, this sexy series centers around the employees (known as Bunnies) of the first Playboy Club in Chicago. In the series premiere, (in voiceover) Hugh Hefner calls the club “a place where anything can happen to anybody—or any Bunny”—and indeed, he’s right: in the first hour there’s an attempted rape, a murder, the cover-up of a murder, bribes, backstabbing, adultery and the introduction of several unscrupulous characters. The cherry on the cake? A career best performance from Cuban actor Eddie Cibrian (CSI Miami), who plays Nick Dalton, a sexy lawyer and playboy club keyholder who helps a young bunny understand the rotten world she’s hopping around in.
Premieres: Tuesday, September 13 at 9 p.m. on The CW
In Ringer, Cuban actor Nestor Carbonell (Lost) plays Victor Machado, a well-meaning FBI agent who has to try and protect a woman named Bridget (Sara Michelle Gellar) who witnesses a murder. But Bridget doesn’t want Victor’s protection and takes matters into her own hands, assuming the identity of her wealthy twin sister, Siobhan, whom she thinks leads a charmed life.
Premieres: Thursday September 22nd at 8 p.m. on ABC.
When you watch Charlie’s Angels this fall, you’ll have a new crush: Ramon Rodriguez. The ripped Puerto Rican actor (The Wire) plays John Bosley, the liaison between Charlie Townsend and the Angels—who serves as their adviser, confidante and friend. Rodriguez’s Bosley is loyal, smart and uses his looks to help the Angels in their mission to save lives. But when you watch the show, the scenes you’ll most look forward to are those where he’s shirtless!
Premieres: Wednesday September 14th at 8/7c on The CW
In H8R, reality stars like The Jersey Shore’s Snooki and Kim Kardashian go head-to-head with civilians who hate them in an effort to win their “haters” over as fans. Mexican actor Mario Lopez (Extra) hosts the funny new show.
