Best Lead Actor In A Comedy Series: Ricardo Chavira, Desperate Housewives

As Carlos Solis, Gaby’s (Eva Longoria Parker) husband on Desperate Housewives, Chavira does a wonderful job playing a mostly nice guy who is married to a narcissistic, materialistic, cheater of a wife, who can also be more than a little insensitive to his needs. While we love watching Carlos get irritated by Gaby, we have to admit that Chavira’s best scenes are those in which Carlos (who has spent some time in jail) shows Gaby that two can play her games, and that he can be just as petty, manipulative and ruthless as she is.
