It hasn't seemed like Salma Hayek has been sweating her split from fiance Francois-Henri Pinault, but her pal Phillip Bloch credits baby Valentina Paloma for keeping his friend positive. "She's nurturing and maternal," the celeb stylist says.

In the 11 months since Salma gave birth to Valentina, she's been keeping a pretty low profile, stepping out only for work, shopping or to support close pal Penelope Cruz's premieres. But in spite of ending her engagement to Valentina's father Francois, Salma has managed to keep a smile on her face throughout.

"Salma has survived many romances," Phillip says. "She finds happiness in the ones she loves. She's passionido!"

We're glad Salma is taking her recent life changes in stride, though we have no doubt she'll find herself a new man very soon!
