VIDEO: Shakira Performs with Usher at Obama's "We Are One" Inauguration Concert

Shakira took a break from recording her new album to toast Barack Obama all weekend long. Just a few hours before gracing the Latino Inaugural Gala in a gorgeous green dress, the singer donned liquid latex pants at the Lincoln Memorial for the President-Elect's "We Are One" Inauguration Concert.

Joined by Usher and backed by Stevie Wonder, Shaki sang a soulful rendition of "Higher Ground" that was in sync with the celebratory spirit of the afternoon. While we hoped that Shakira might belt out a line or two in Spanish, seeing her rock out with Barack, Michelle, Sasha and Malia sitting just a few feet away was enough to keep us satisfied.
