Since the age of four, Christian Ty has been interested in entertainment. His family watched as the young boy would pick up a cuatro—a Latin American instrument that is a smaller version of a guitar with four strings—and pretend to play. Now 23, the Venezuelan-born artist debuted his first single, “Llora, Me Llama,” earlier this summer. Out on iTunes, “Llora, Me Llama” is a Spanish cover of a hit song originally from Brazil and was produced by Adrian Posse, who has worked with Thalía. The video for “Llora, Me Llama” premiered over the July 4th weekend on VEVO and the Mun2 network.
The light-eyed cutie visited the Latina offices recently to introduce himself, chat about his new single, and share with us what he loves about being Latino.
