The Latin Billboard Awards, the annual award show that honors achievements in Latin music based on sales and radio play, was held in San Juan, Puerto Rico, on April 29, 2010. With mutiple performances and presentations from all the biggest names in Latin music, the biggest surprise of the night was Ricky Martin, who spoke out against Arizona's recently-passed SB 1070 law. "You are not alone. We are with you. Put a stop to discrimination. Put a stop to hate. Put a stop to racism. Long live love, long live peace."
Ricky Martin receives a standing ovation while speaking onstage during his first public appearance since his big announcement.
