The Mexican-American rapper’s politically inclined song "Despierta (Wake Up)" is featured in Voto Latino’s “27 million” campaign where she also takes part in.

In case you’re wondering, 27 million is the number of Latinos eligible to vote in the this year’s election. Snow along with other influencers and activists appear in a campaign video to speak about the importance of letting your voice be heard.

"For me, it's important to be part of this campaign because young people need to wake up and worry about the future of our country," Snow told Billboard about her role in the campagin. "People have been messing it up for years and it's time for young people to fix it. Vote now, don't complain later."

Towards the end of the video, Snow’s song, “Despierta” plays in the background. If you’ve listen to the track, you’ll know that Snow gets very political, calling out Trump's racism and sexism, as well as President Obama for deporting more immigrants than any other U.S. President. It’s obvious that she wants our voices to be heard loud and clear.

“This is a message to Latinos that we have to unify,” the mexicana told Remezcla, when talking about the song. “If we don’t accept each other we cannot expect the rest of the world to accept us.”
