Ricky Martin to End Evita Run in January

Ricky Martin is saying adios to Evita. The Puerto Rican pop singer will be gracing the stage for the last time as Che, along with co-stars, Elena Roger and Michael Cerveris, on January 26^th.

"One of the most amazing cycles of my career. Discipline and growth! 2013 a year full of amazing projects Thank u so much for ur applause," tweeted Ricky.

Producers for the Broadway show, which was nominated for a Tony Award for “best musical revival,” confirmed in a press release that new stars for the three roles would be announced at a later date.

The revival directed by Michael Grandage and choreographed by Rob Ashford made its debut back in March and was a box office hit, which includes a soundtrack that has been translated into 25 different languages.
