Pitbull Receives The Coveted BMI President’s Award

Pitbull proudly received the BMI President’s Award during the 19th annual BMI Latin Music Awards in Las Vegas over the weekend. The event, held by the leading music rights organization, presented Mr. 305 with the coveted award for his influence in pop music.

The "International Love" rapper has proven to be the certified king of number one hits and his album Rebelution sold over 7.5 million digital singles worldwide. Other Latino recipients in the past include, Juanes and Emilio and Gloria Estefan.

The Cuban rapper, who also shared the stage with Wisin y Yandel to receive the "BMI Latin Songwriter of the Year" award, will also be lending his trademark lyrics for the Men in Black 3 theme song, "Back in Time ."
