Shakira just dropped the fourth single off of her latest Spanish language album, Sale el Sol. This new song, called "Antes de las Seis" is a ballad written and produced in collaboration with Lester Mendez, who also worked with Shaki "Underneath Your Clothes" and "La Tortura"—which bodes very well for the singer.
If we had to guess, we're sure it will be met with tons of love from fans and even more radio play. After all, Shakira's having a career year! The Latin Recording Academy is honoring the Colombian superstar with the award for "The 2011 Person of the Year" Grammy at November 10 ceremony in Las Vegas. Shakira just also happens to be fastest growing Latin artist in social media, which doesn't surprise us one bit. Though Shakira's fame is at an all time global high, she never forgets that her fans are who have brought her to this point in her career and she rewards them by giving them a consistent glimpse at her every day life through her Youtube video blogs, her Twitter feed (10 million followers), and her Facebook page (40 million fans) updates.
