Selena Quintanilla’s classic hit “Amor Prohibido,” depicting a forbidden love as strong as Romeo and Juliet’s, is back! The track is the first single off of the new Selena re-mastered album titled “Enamorada de Ti” (“In Love With You”), which is set to premiere on April 3rd.
The original track, which was off of her fifth studio album sharing the single’s title, hit the Billboard 200 back in 1994 and solidified Tejano pop music as a chart-topping genre. In 1995, the Queen of Tejano music was tragically murdered by her former assistant Yolanda Saldivar.
In honor of the late Tejana singer, the album features unreleased tracks and remixes from artists like Don Omar and Christian Castro.
