Mars has released his next promotional single off of his highly anticipated album Unorthodox Jukebox, which debuts in stores everywhere on December 11. The brand-new song, entitled “When I Was Your Man,” is wistful and heart wrenchingly beautiful all at once.

“Soon you guys will hear a song I wrote called ‘When I Was Your Man’,” tweeted Mars on December 2. “I’ve never been this nervous. Can’t explain it.”
