Linda Ronstadt has been nominated for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, the only Latin musician among those nominated for the legendary honor, reports NBC Latino.
The list of 16 includes many notable acts, including KISS, LL Cool J, Nirvana, Hall and Oates and more. Rondstat, 67, began her singing career performing at charreadas, a type of Mexican rodeo, near her home in Tucson, Arizona.
During her career, Rondstat has recorded more than 30 albums, including one Spanish-language album titled "Canciones de Mi Padre." It remains one of the best-selling non-English albums of all time.
