Latino Artists Win Big at 2011 Billboard Music Awards

A slew of Latino artists snagged awards at the 2011 Billboard Music Awards last night, which was held at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.

Shakira took home honors for Top Latin Artist and Top Latin Song for her hit “Waka Waka (This Time for Africa)”, while Enrique Iglesias won the Top Latin Album award for "Euphoria." Meanwhile, the Black Eyed Peas, who delivered an energetic performance to a blend of their songs, won the award for Top Duo/Group and the immensely talented part-boricuaBruno Mars (AKA Peter Gene Hernandez) took home the award for Top Radio Song for his hit single, "Just the Way You Are."

But the big Latino winner of the night was Taio Cruz. The part-Brazilian singer-songwriter took home top honors for Top Hot 100 Song, Top Pop Song, and Top Digital Song for his hit single, “Dynamite”.

All of the Latino love at last night's show must've made Selena Gomez really happy. The usually private actress-singer and her boyfriend Justin Bieber shared a big, fat kiss on live TVHow cute is that?
