Jenni Rivera was and always will be La Diva de la Banda, and she has the record sales to prove it. The regional Mexican singer, who died in a tragic plane crash in December, is currently dominating Billboard's Latin Album charts with three individual albums.
Her latest album, La Misma Gran Señora, which was released just two days after her passing, currently dominates the number one position. Her platinum-selling albums, Joyas Prestadas: Pop and Joyas Prestadas: Banda are also in second and third place on the charts.
According to The New York Times, Jenni's albums have sold 10 times more now than prior to her accident. A few weeks ago, her record label announced that they would be releasing a pop English album previously recorded by the star. The album will be released later this year.
What do you think about Jenni's continued success?
