Jennifer Lopez turns into her alter ego Lola when singing her new dance record “Fresh Out the Oven” featuring Pitbull. From the sound of things, Lola is a sultry, confident maneater. But don’t expect to hear from Lola on J. Lo’s upcoming album, Love?, due to be released in January.
“Lola is just for this song; it's not her ongoing persona," says a source close to the singer. "It's something fun. She hasn't become Sasha Fierce [Beyoncé's artistic alter ego]. There won't be anything to do with Lola on her Love? album."
In fact, you won’t even hear “Fresh Out the Oven” on Love? "This is a hot club record that the label loved and Jennifer thought was fun," Amanda Ghost, president of Epic Records, told People. "Jennifer and Pitbull got together and the record leaked. Lola is a fun character just for this song."
So ladies, get your drink and head to the dance floor. Now just follow Lola’s lead and work it. Listen to the song here.
