J Balvin's Latest Song is Dedicated to Venezuela's Leader Nicolas Maduro


On Sunday, J Balvin took to Instagram promote his new single, “Fuck you, Maburro.” In case it wasn't obvious, the song is dedicated to Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro. The short clip of the song, which garnered over a million views on the social platform in just one day, is a teaser of Balvin's latest track set to release on March 23. Along with the premiere date for the single, the songwriter, born José Álvaro Osorio Balvin, captioned the photo with three middle finger emojis.

This is the not the first time the Colombian heartthrob has addressed the politician. During the 2017 Heat Latin Music Awards held at Cap Cana, Dominican Republic the reggaetonero sent a message to the Venezuelan president. "This message is not political, it is conscience, Maduro, mature your conscience," the singer said during the award show referring to Venezuela's latest protest which resulted in 68 deaths.
