The Black Eyed Peas will be taking a break after their world tour for their new album, The Beginning. The group broke the news in Staffordshire and said they would not be performing again for a long time, but it would not be forever. Will.i.am also announced the hiatus last week on his Twitter account. “The @Bep will take a break after the beginning...just like we did from monkey business to the e.n.d...but it doesn't mean we stop creating,” he wrote. The reason for the well-deserved break may be the group’s recent whirlwind world tour, which comes on the heels of two successful albums released back-to-back.
Earlier this year, the group’s female star Fergie had announced that the group would be taking an extended break from releasing material. At the time the 36-year-old pop star admitted she'd been looking forward to relaxing and spending time with her hubby, Josh Duhamel. “That’s what the break is all about—getting more of that personal time,” Fergie shared.
