Besides being easy on the eyes, Pablo Alborán possesses raw vocal talent that captivates the soul. The 22-year-old Spanish singer first landed on the scene for his debut self-titled album nearly a year ago and Spanish audiences quickly caught on. Alborán’s first album, featuring a series of romantic ballads and heartbreaking lyrics, went platinum in Spain and garnered three Latin Grammy nominations. The Spanish singer showcased his talent at last year’s awards alongside Demi Lovato for a romantic rendition of his first single “Solamente Tú.”
Alborán was born in Málaga, Spain and had an interest in the arts at an early age. He learned to play the piano, classic guitar, and flamenco guitar while taking singing lessons in Madrid. At the tender age of 12, he composed the single “Amor del Barrio.” He later remade the track for his debut album.
Alborán may be a huge sensation in his native country, but he hopes to win the hearts of U.S. fans soon. His debut album, which features twelve tracks, also includes his latest single “Perdóname” featuring Portuguese singer Carminho. The track features his raspy voice singing fluid melodies of breaking up with his lover. His first single, “Solamente Tú” is equally as satisfying and leaves us mesmerized with his natural talent. We confess – we are in love!
