"I'll Never Go"
Archuleta's vocal range delivers with full impact in this romantic pop ballad off of his latest album, Forevermore. As he prepares to pack his bags in the video, he sings, "I'll never go far away from you/Even the sky will tell you that I need you." We are in love!
"When You Believe"
Performing the Academy Award-winning song "When You Believe," on Idol, David delivered a sublime performance that made us all believe in miracles. We got chills as he sang the words, "Now we are not afraid/although we know there's much to fear." Fantastic!
“Something ‘Bout love”
David performed his first single from his second album The Other Side of Down for his fans and we couldn’t help but sing along with the chorus “woah, oh oh oh, it sets you free!”
"In This Moment"
David's performance of the original song "In This Moment," recalled Kelly Clarkson's winning performance of "A Moment Like This." Although he ended up losing the competition to David Cook, this performance was unquestionably the best performance of season 7.
In 2003, when he was twelve years old, Archuleta sang on several episodes of the television show Star Search. Check out his fierce performance of the Alicia Keys song, "Fallin'."

David performed "Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas" for the staff at Forbes Magazine in New York City.
“The Long and Winding Road”
The always cheerful David showed us a more serious, somber side of himself when he performed “The Long and Winding Road,” a ballad written by Paul McCartney.
“Another Day in Paradise”
We love David on the piano! When he performed Phil Collins' hit single “Another Day in Paradise” on the Idol stage—a song that was wtitten to bring attention to the problem of homelessness—David’s love for his fellow human beings was obvious. He approached the song with sensitivity, compassion, and maturity beyond his years.
David's performance of the Robbie Williams song "Angels" is without a doubt one of the most beautiful performances in Idol history!
“Don’t Let The Sun Go Down on Me”
In the American Idol season seven finale, David performed the Elton John classic, “Don’t Let the Sun Go Down On Me." His heartfelt performance won over Simon Cowell, who said that David deserved to win the competition.
"Waiting on the World to Change"
For his very first Idol audition, David took a well-known song (John Mayer's "Waiting On the World to Change") and made it his own by adding his signature runs (and soul) to the song!
David is a pop singer, but that didn’t stop him from rocking out to Edwin McCain’s hit 1998 song, “I’ll Be” on the Idol stage!
“Smoky Mountain Memories”
David’s performance of this Dolly Parton song was emotional, touching, soulful and inspiring.
When David performed this Neil Diamond classic on the Idol stage, he made it current and changed the arrangement to make it more of a crowd pleaser.
“And So It Goes”
David is a fella who isn’t afraid to go A capella. Here he does it beautifully to Billy Joel’s “And So It Goes.”
Our crush on David Archuleta never goes away, and it was never more prominent than when we heard him sing his hit song “Crush,” the first single off his debut album on The Today Show.
"The First Nowell"
For the Forbes holiday concert, David performed the traditional classical English carol. It was a sweet and timeless performance!
David had nothing to "Apologize" about when he sang the hit One Republic song on the Idol stage.
David tackled one of the greatest songs of all time (John Lennon's "Imagine") and not only did he change the arrangement to make it more current, but he also filled the song with soul and feeling.
"O Holy Night"
When he performed this well-known Christmas carol, it was obvious that David loved what he was singing about. Beautiful!
"Stand By Me"
Only David could take the Leiber and Stoller classic and make it swoon-worthy.
His mama told him to shop around and that's precisely what David did with this fun performance of The Miracles song, "Shop Around." The runs he delivers at the end of the song are electrifying!
