The Dutchess just released her new video for “Save it Til Morning” off her Double Dutchess album and it seems eerily autobiographical.
In the vid, a flame-haired Fergie is a famous singer (“Fenix”) in a relationship with her producer, played by hottie Jay Hernandez. The video goes back and forth between happier times (where the songstress sports her natural hue) and the present where the pair “get through” public appearances and fight miserably behind closed doors.
Lyrics like these are sad and moving:
“Why do you hurt the ones you love the most?
I won't be your punching bag
Why did I put up with that?
We gotta figure it out”
With the video coming out so close to Fergie and Josh Duhamel’s breakup, we can’t help but wonder if it’s based, at least in part, on their real relationship. Just like the celebrity exes, the pair in the video end up apart with the "A Little Work" singer riding off in the back of a limo into the sunrise on her own and her guy left back at home.
