Double Dates: 6 Fantasy Concert Tours We Would Love To See

Pop music may bring sexy back—if the tour that Britney Spears announced on Good Morning America with Enrique Iglesias ever becomes a reality. Just hours after Brit made the announcement, Enrique pulled out, but is reporting that negotiations are still under way that could eventually result in a Spears/Iglesias tour taking place this summer. Britney’s new album Femme Fatale hit stores today, and Enrique’s Euphoria—his first bilingual album—came out last year. We're keeping our fingers crossed for this one!

Now that we’ve got lip-synching and stage-diving on the mind, we went ahead and dreamt up a few more fantasy double (and in one case, triple!) bills.

View the slideshow for our wish list of epic concert duos!

1. Selena Gomez and Prince Royce

Prince Royce & Selena Gomez

We would love to play matchmaker to doe-eyed Selena and her not-so-secret admirer Prince Royce, but the Bieber-backlash would probably pose too much of a fire hazard.

2. Lady Gaga and Ricky Martin

Ricky Martin & Lady Gaga

This could be the gay pride concert of the year, but we would expect Ricky to get the full Gaga costume treatment: may we suggest matching leather unitards?

3. Mana and U2

Mana & U2

Both these bands feature prominently on the romantic comedy soundtrack that are our personal lives, so a live collabo would put us in emo heaven.

4. Juanes and Juan Luis Guerra and Carlos Santana

Juanes & Juan Luis Guerra & Carlos Santana

We think this triple threat of artists/philanthropists should join forces for a charity concert. Save the Goatees?

5. Shakira and Black Eyed Peas

Shakira & Black Eyed Peas

Bring together two of the highest-energy acts in global pop music, and this is one concert DVD that could be its own workout video.

6. J.Lo and Usher

Usher & J.Lo

Two words: Dance. Off.

7. Esperanza Spalding & Q-Tip

Q-Tip & Esperanza Spalding

If Britney and Enrique have us overdosing on auto-tune, we’ll get our street cred back with jazzy Esperanza and perennially cool Q-Tip. But this collabo isn’t just in our fantasies…the Grammy-winners are already working on an album together!
