Don Omar is leading the race for the most Latin Billboard Music Award's nominations.
The Fast and the Furious star may know what it's like to star in a box-office hit, but the reggaetonero is still The Kings of Kings when it comes to music. The Puerto Rican rapper has blown the competition by landing 16 finalist nominations in 14 categories for the Latin Billboard's big event, reports The Hollywood Reporter. Don Omar had a great year on the charts for hit tracks like "Taboo" and "Danza Kuduro," which spent 15 weeks at number one on the "Hot Latin Songs" chart and has gotten over 300 million YouTube views to date.
Coming in at a close second place is Pitbull. The Cuban rapper has received 14 nominations in 12 categories including "Song of the Year" for "Give Me Everything" featuring Ne-Yo. The infectious track was the seventh best selling digital track last year and sold over 8.2 million copies.
Last, but certainly not least is Prince Royce. The newbie has proven to have the talent of a veteran with nominations in 12 categories including "Artist of the Year." Last year the bachatero snagged three Latin Billboard Music Awards including "Best Tropical Album of the Year" for his self-titled album.
Mana also made the cut with nominations in 11 categories, while Shakira snagged 10 noms. Other music players include Enrique Iglesias, Daddy Yankee, and Juanes.
We can't wait to see who the major winners will be when the Latin Billboard Awards air on April 26th! Who are your favorite artists?
