Two of our favorite Puerto Rican artists are going to be working together! Don Omar and salsa singer Marc Anthony—both heavyweights in their respective genres—are teaming up on a new song.
The 33-year-old reggaeton artist recently took to Twitter to share his excitement: “Confirmed! A dream realized! I will record with MARC ANTHONY! #AllIDoIsWin.” Clearly, El Don is very excited about teaming up with Anthony.
Don Omar has an extremely packed schedule and is even planning a move to Hollywood to focus on his acting career. The reggaeton star has seven more films to complete on his contract with Universal and told EFE last month, “I already did three: Fast & Furious, Fast Five and Los Bandoleros. I have three left in 2012, another three in 2013, and one in 2014.” If that isn’t enough, he’s also touring Asia, Africa, and South America in the next several months.
As for Anthony, his new Kohl’s men’s line recently launched and he has been busy promoting for it. He also has his new show with soon to be ex-wife Jennifer Lopez, Q’Viva: The Chosen. The new musical reality show aims to find new, young talent by searching throughout 21 countries in Latin America. We’re excited for this collaboration—the news was music to our ears!
