Christina Aguilera just wrapped recording for her fourth as-yet-untitled studio album. And from the sounds of it, we should be expecting a real tour de force!
As we previously reported, Xtina's album will feature some some serious indie cred, including M.I.A., Santigold, and Ladytron. Tricky Stewart, the mastermind behind Rihanna's monster hit "Umbrella" and Beyonce's now iconic "Single Ladies," is working with Aguilera on her upcoming album. Stewart is confident that the new album will give fans everything they are looking for and more, "Christina's always been an artist that moves the bar and that's what the great ones do. They don't stay in the same place for too long and this album is just another move for her. I really feel it's one of her best bodies of work that I've heard since Stripped."
Unfortunately all of Aguilera's fans who have been waiting patiently for her next album are going to have wait a bit longer. The singer is concentrating on her film career for now, filming her feature debut in Burlesque with the Cher.
"She's gonna do the film first." confirms Stewart. "She didn't want to not be able to promote this record because it's going to be a big record for her."
