Christina Aguilera recently released some exciting details surrounding her first studio album in four years. The album, entitled Bionic, is her first collection of new work since the birth of her son, Max Liron, with music producer hubby Jordan Bratman.
Bionic is set to drop on June 8th and her first single, "Not Myself Tonight," will be released on March 30th. With 30 million albums sold worldwide, expectations are running high surrounding Aguilera's comeback, and she assures fans that they have a lot to be excited about: "I was able to explore and create a fresh, sexy feel using both electronic and organic elements...I am so excited for my fans to hear the new sound. It is something I don’t think anyone will expect," Aguilera said in a release on her website, www.christinaaguilera.com.
The album features many buzzed about collaborations including Sia, Tricky Stewart and Ladytron. "Working on this album with so many talented artists and producers that I admire was really an amazing experience," noted Aguilera on her website. "The artists I chose to work with added so many unique sonic layers to Bionic. The results were magic."
