Move over Pitbull and Wisin y Yandel. Carlos Santana is the original king of collaborations! According to Huffington Post, the legendary Mexican guitarist cleared up rumors about a possible collaboration with Justin Bieber and Lady Gaga.
After several rumors claimed he would be joining forces with the pop stars, Carlos set the record straight about his musical new ventures. "It’s a matter of the right song and some willingness. I hold my sister and two brothers in the same light and I am grateful that nothing is out of the realm of possibility.' Peace," he said.

Santana and The Product G&B, 1999
Who can forget playing this track on repeat back in the day? We all transformed into leading ladies from Spanish Harlem when we listened to Santana’s “Maria Maria” featuring The Project G&B. The song, off of his hit album Supernatural, also won the Grammy Award for “Best Pop Performance by a Duo or Group” in 2000, and remains one of our favorite Santana tracks to date.

"The Game of Love" off of Santana's album, Shaman, still stands as the perfect marriage between rock and pop music. Too bad the single is about love gone wrong! The 2002 hit single snagged the Grammy Award for "Best Pop Collaboration with Vocals" and hit the top five on Billboard's Hot 100 charts.

Carlos showed off his signature strings for the late King of Pop's single, "Whatever Happens," off of his album, Invincible. The legendary guitarist added a rich smoothness to Michael's classic sound. This collaboration was history in the making!

Also off of his Supernatural album, his track featuring Lauryn Hill and Cee Lo Green, "Do You Like The Way" perfectly blended rock, funk, and soul beats into a magical collaboration. Although some critics found the track forced, we think this trio had all the right ingredients for a hit.

The Colombian pop star and Mexican guitarist joined forces for her single "Illegal" off of her second English-language studio album, Oral Fixation Vol. 2. The track didn't make pop chart success like, "Hips Don't Lie," but made number one in the international charts.
