He scooped up a bunch of Grammy nominations for his work with production group The Smeezingtons, and his tender and tough love songs receive heavy radio play. Now, the half Puerto-Rican crooner can add making history to his list of accomplishments. After 20 weeks at the #1 spot on Billboard’s Adult Contemporary chart, the singer’s hit “Just The Way You Are” off of his debut album Doo-Wops & Hooligans is now the longest-reigning debut single in the list’s 50-year history!

The singer/songwriter has for a ton of other huge artists like Cee Lo Green, who is a judge on The Voice alongside Christina Aguilera.  Mars has also worked with rapper B.o.B. on his wildly popular song “Nothin’ On You” and Travie McCoy on the aspirational tune “Billionaire”.
