All of the hard work Bruno Mars and Pitbull have put in this year is paying off! The artists both snagged multiple nominations for the 2011 MTV Video Music Awards, which will air live on Aug. 28 at 9 p.m. EST.
Mars, who is on the cover of this week’s Billboard Magazine, received four nominations: Video of the Year, Best Male Video, and Best Pop Video for his hit song “Grenade” and Best Choreography for his laid-back moves in “The Lazy Song”
It's no surprise that Pitbull got nominated for Best Collaboration for his hit song “Give Me Everything” featuring R&B artist Ne-Yo, Nayer, and Afrojack. The Miami-born rapper is known for his amazing collaboration and this one is no exception. Mr. Worldwide also received a nomination for Best Pop Video for the same song.
Congrats to all the nominees!
Good luck to both and the rest of the nominees!
