Just days after Selena Gomez was released from the hospital for nausea, exhaustion and malnutrition, Britney Spears is giving Selenita some serious whiplash — but that's actually a very good thing.
Selena and her band The Scene have just released their new song, "Whiplash," which was co-written by Spears and was supposed to be on Brit's latest album Femme Fatale. The song is set to appear on Selena's upcoming third album, When the Sun Goes Down, which drops on July 28th. (Listen to "Whiplash" below!). Reportedly, Selena is planning on performing a tribute to Britney during her upcoming concert tour.
Selenita's having quite the week so far. After performing at a Santa Monica shopping mall on Monday in front of hundreds of adoring fans, last night Selenita tweeted: "Ahhhh yay! Yay! Yay! Who Says went platinum!!! Thank you!! YOU have every right to a beautiful life :)."
Not to mention that her new song, "Dices," the Spanish-language version of her hit single, "Who Says" is now available on Itunes.
