Selena Gomez (“Love Will Remember”)
The 20-year-old singer/actress made headlines recently after she opened up about one of her new songs, which is dedicated to her ex, Justin Bieber. In her InStyle June 2013 cover story, the pop star described the song as “the most personal track on the record, for sure.” The song is very bittersweet, as the world knows that Gomez and Bieber have been on and off – and on and off. Juanes (“Cubano Soy”)
Back in 2009, the Colombian rock star composed a song for the Cuban people for his controversial Peace Without Frontiers concert in the island nation. When asked about the song, Juanes explained: “The song is entitled "Cubano Soy" and is a tribute to the Cuban family in and out of the country from the perspective of a Colombian resident in Miami."
Marc Anthony (“Faithfully” by Journey)
The superstar salsero belted out Journey’s “Faithfully” song during a Los Angeles concert he held back when his then-wife Jennifer Lopez was pregnant with their twins. “This song has a whole new significance,” the singer said, before singing the song during his hour-long set. It’s bittersweet to think about the couple’s past, but beautiful to see how much love there was between Anthony and J.Lo.
Mariah Carey ("Obsessed")
“And I was like, ‘Why you so obsessed with me?’” Mariah Carey begins her song “Obsessed.” The subject of the diva’s song is none other than rapper Eminem, in response to his claims that they had a "thing." For the song's music video, Carey even dressed as a guy who is clearly supposed to be the then-angry rapper - complete with his hoodie. Watch the video below and cringe with us. Calle 13 (“Latinoamérica")
The Boricua alternative hip-hop duo’s Latin Grammy-winning song is dedicated to Latin America as a whole. The song, which touches on numerous historical, social and political themes poetically, gives us goose bumps.
Gloria Estefan ("Nayib's Song (I Am Here For You)")
The Cuban American legend dedicated "Nayib's Song (I Am Here For You)" to her eldest son, Nayib Estefan. In the 1991 song, Estefan expressed her promise to do the best she can in raising her son. The chorus reads: "I am here for you, you are here for me... It's an on goin' process... I will take care of you, you will take care of me... If we're gonna make some progress."
Gloria Estefan ("Along Came You (A Song For Emily)")
The cubana dedicated a heartfelt song titled for her daughter, Emily Estefan. The song centers on how much Estefan’s daughter taught her about love. Watch Estefan perform the touching song below (with images of her daughter in the background). So sweet!

The Boricua salsero dedicated his 2000 song “My Baby You” to his daughter Arianna, who he had with an ex-girlfriend.
