Aventura front man Romeo recently talked to the NY Daily News about the group, its latest album and fatherhood.
When talking about The Last, which drops in April, Romeo explains one song titled "Gracias" is dedicated to the group’s fans. "I tell them that I’m indebted to them for their infinite love," he says. And with the success of the album’s first chart-topping single, "Por Un Segundo," Aventura is clearly feeling the affection.
Right now the sexy bachatero isn’t resting on his laurels, but he is relaxing and spending major quality time with his 8-year-old son, Alejandro.
"I try to share a lot with him," Romeo says. "I’m like a big brother to him and I do that so he feels like he can talk to me about anything. Sometimes parents only want to set an example and we forget that children need to be heard, too."
