Alejandro Sanz and Juan Luis Guerra Lead 2010 Latin Grammy Nominations

The 2010 Latin Grammy nominations were announced today and Spanish crooner Alejandro Sanz, Dominican merengue icon Juan Luis Guerra, Jorge Drexler, and Mario Domm (lead singer of pop group Camila) came out on top with four nominations each.

Drexler is up for Record of the Year with "Una Canción," alongside Buika with "Se Me Hizo Fácil," Brazilian Maria Bethania with "Tua," Camila with "Mientes" and Sanz with "Desde Cuando." Camila was nominated for Album of the Year for "Dejarte de Amar," along with Sanz for "Paraíso Express" and Juan Luis Guerra for "A Son de Guerra."

Alex Cuba, Kany Garcia, Gilberto Santa Rosa were all on hand for the announcement this afternoon in Hollywood, CA. Prince Royce was also in attendance, and although he was overlooked in the always exciting Best New Artist category, his eponymous debut was nominated for Best Contemporary Tropical Album.
