LISTEN: Alejandro Fernandez Debuts Duet with Dad, Vicente Fernandez

Alejandro Fernandez is sharing the mic with his legendary father for the first time in over twenty years!

The Mexican singer debuted “Me Olvidé de Vivir” (I Forgot To Live) on Tuesday, a duet with his father, renowned artist Vicente Fernandez.

According to the Huffington Post, Alejandro Fernandez’s newest CD Confidencias debuted at the No. 1 spot in the U.S. and 19 other countries when it was released last month. Despite the fact that Fernandez rarely collaborates with his father, he has repeatedly spoken of his influence in his personal and professional life.

“The song is very special for the two of us because we both identify with it very much, it’s a part of our lives,” Alejandro said in a press release, “When we recorded the song in the ranch’s studio, it was very emotional. We both felt it in our hearts. We were in the studio singing and with just one look, we could say it all.”
